The new Kasuri denim from Pure Blue Japan reinvents their ultra-textured Extra Slub Series denim through traditional Japanese dyeing techniques. Made in small batches in Japan, the denim's subtly varied surface color comes from an intentional uneven dye on the warp yarns, and is accentuated by the wild yarn size variations throughout the fabric. As with other styles in PBJ's catalog, the Kasuri Selvedge is woven on an old-world shuttle loom using a specialized slow weaving technique to produce the unique texture the brand is renowned for. Finished with custom nickel buttons, a deerskin natural leather patch, and the signature Pure Blue Japan indigofera leaf embroidery.
