This special collaborative installment pairs with the Shizen Selvedge Denim by using the same set of natural dyes. Roughly translated to "Red Color" the Akane dye receives it's color from fermented vegetable madder resulting in a light dye combining Japanese heritage and organic chemistry. Crafted in Wakayama, Japan, the shirt is knit on circular machines and sewn with natural cotton thread. Woven using natural slubby cotton, the shirt is finished on a 1960's vintage Union Special for an authentic vintage feel.
